A StrataGrid drone flying over houses and countryside

StrataGrid uses drones to inspect roofs and gutters, survey church and heritage roofs, and capture aerial photos and video of property. Every flight is planned, risk-assessed and permission-checked before take-off, and we handle all of it, so there's no hassle for you.

What we do

Three services, done properly.

We keep things focused on the work we offer today, so you know exactly what you're getting.

Roof & gutter inspection

Close-up photos and video of tiles, flashing, chimneys, valleys and gutters, so you can see a problem before anyone climbs up.

How it works

From first question to finished photos.

01

Tell us the job

Use the job checker or email us. We'll ask about the site, what you need and when.

02

We plan the flight

We check airspace, arrange any permissions, assess the site and agree a date with you.

03

We fly

Usually under two hours on site. If the weather isn't safe we'll tell you early and rebook.

04

You get the results

Edited photos and video, labelled so you can find each part of the roof or property.

Safety first

Anyone can fly a drone. We fly ours safely, legally and with no hassle for you.

Drones are easy to buy and easy to fly. Flying one for work, over someone's home, near an airport or beside a busy street, is different: it takes qualifications, insurance, permissions and a written plan for every job. That's the part we take seriously.

StrataGrid is run by Ewa Cielepa, a registered nurse who brings the same discipline to flying: assess the risk, follow the procedure, double-check, then act.

Every job has its own written plan, permissions are confirmed in writing, and we never fly in winds above the drone's limits. Our current drones stay grounded in rain; the Matrice 4TD, coming soon, will be able to keep working in light rain.
